Juarez’ body was found in the front bedroom of a house in the 2500 block of Northwest 24th Street on Nov. 20, according to police. Another victim, a 60-year-old woman, was found with a gunshot wound to the shin. She was treated at a local hospital and survived.
“Elizabeth had a way of making everyone feel welcomed — her smile, her warmth and her kindness touched every person who crossed her path,” Juarez’s relatives wrote on a GoFundMe for her funeral expenses. “Her love, strength and generosity will forever live in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her.”
Police declined to release arrest warrant affidavits for the three suspects on Thursday, citing an ongoing investigation.
All three suspects were being held in the Tarrant County Jail on Thursday with bond set at $300,000.
