The top Texas Senate Democratic candidates, U.S. Jasmine Crockett of Dallas and state Rep. James Talarico of Austin, debate Saturday at the Texas AFL-CIO convention in Georgetown.
Texas AFL-CIO President Leonard Aguilar said the matchup is meant to help union members and workers statewide decide who to back in the March 3 primary.
The Democratic nominee will face the winner of a three-way Republican primary among Sen. John Cornyn, Attorney General Ken Paxton and U.S. Rep. Wesley Hunt of Houston.
How to watch: The one-hour debate, beginning at 2 p.m., will stream on Nexstar Media Group’s local station websites, including cw33.com in Dallas.
