Fort Worth native Shelley Duvall’s collection of autographed scripts, photographs and memorabilia are up for auction.
Duvall died in her sleep in her home in Blanco, Texas, last summer at 75 years old. She was born in Fort Worth, grew up in Houston and later moved back to Texas in the mid-1990s after leaving Hollywood.
San Antonio-based Vogt Auction Galleries is leading the auction, which begins at 7 p.m. on Oct. 30. Folks can bid for items online or visit the auction house in person at 7233 Blanco Road.

In total, there are 153 items in the auction with artifacts from some of Duvall’s most famous movies.
“The Shining” is well represented in the lot, from shooting scripts and production sheets to autographed posters and photographs. The “Shining” shooting scripts hold the highest starting bids of the entire lot at $5,000 a piece.
Scripts from “Popeye” can be found in the lot, along with the film’s soundtrack and a 35mm film trailer reel. Several “Popeye” books are also in the auction, along with lobby cards from the film.
“Brewster McCloud” is the first film Duvall and filmmaker Robert Altman worked on together. Bidders can buy a signed poster and photograph from that movie, and more items from the pair’s other collaborations, including “Nashville” and “3 Women.”
Other films featured in auction include “Annie Hall,” “Time Bandits” and “Mother Goose Rock ‘n’ Rhyme.” Duvall’s director’s chair is also available, with the current bid at $1,100.

Beyond the film-related merchandise, several of Duvall’s personal items are also up for grabs.
Bidders will find Duvall’s collection of books, jewelry, photographs, paintings, clothing and more. Both California and Texas license plates are in the auction, along with several furniture pieces and personal effects.
In addition, Duvall’s Blanco home is also up for sale at $699,000, according to Zillow. The three bedroom, two bathroom home sits on just over 10 acres.
