EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — U.S. 62/180 has been closed between El Paso and New Mexico because of winter weather, the Texas Department of Transportation said.
The closure is for both eastbound and westbound traffic from mile marker 46 to mile marker 148, TxDOT said.

This is a complete closure with clearing time until further notice.
TxDOT also said that Farm-to-Market Road 1111 and State Highway 54 are also closed to the state line with New Mexico.

Motorists are urged to use alternate routes and avoid travel as weather conditions continue to worsen.
