A crash on Interstate 35 near New Braunfels Avenue has temporarily shut down a stretch of the highway after a vehicle struck overhead road signs on Saturday morning.
Camera footage from the Texas Department of Transportation shows collapsed highway signs in the northbound lanes near the New Braunfels Avenue and Frost Bank Center exits.
All northbound lanes near the New Braunfels Avenue exit are closed, TxDOT posted on Facebook. Drivers will see “significant delays,” it said.

A video posted to social media shows a gray pickup truck swerving between the right two lanes of the highway. It eventually veers off into the grass on the right side and hits the post that was holding up the signs. The signs come crashing down.
TxDOT’s map of highway conditions said the closure is expected to end at around 6:15 p.m. Saturday evening.
