The winter storm that we have been tracking all week is in the Houston area.

The good news is that the city of Houston is not being hit with ice, as temperatures inside the Loop are above the freezing mark.

The bad news is that north of the city, places like Katy, Spring and Montgomery County have been dealing with ice, which is going to have an impact on Sunday, and Monday as well, with temperatures Sunday night will be well below freezing.

Power outages across the Houston area are minimal as of early Sunday morning, according to CenterPoint. You can track outages HERE.

ERCOT grid conditions remain normal. You can track the grid HERE.

This is a fluid situation, so keep checking back online and on air at KTRH for the latest on the storm.
