With snow showers possible Sunday afternoon, airlines have canceled more than 1,100 flights across Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field.
Nationwide, airlines have canceled at least 10,000 flights scheduled for Sunday, with American Airlines, Delta Airlines and Southwest leading in cancellations.
As of Sunday mid-morning, at least 900 flights have been canceled at DFW Airport, according to flight tracking site FlightAware. The airport is a hub for American Airlines.

Along with its subsidiaries Envoy Air and PSA Airlines, American has slashed a combined 716 flights from DFW’s Sunday schedule, though those numbers continue to rise.
The airline is adding 1,400 seats in flights arriving at DFW Airport on Sunday, American Airlines said in a Friday news release.

At Love Field, airlines have canceled at least 250 Sunday flights, according to FlightAware. Though the vast majority came from Southwest, Atlanta-based Delta also cut seven Sunday flights there.
