A man was in critical condition after he was found unresponsive in a pond Sunday morning during dangerously cold weather, the Colleyville Fire Department said in a statement.
Police and fire officials responded to a home in the 5000 block of Fry Lane to assist a woman who had fallen in her backyard, the statement said.
First responders helped the woman before finding her husband in a nearby pond. At the time of the incident, the temperature was in the teens.
He was rushed to a hospital and said to be in critical condition late Sunday, the statement said.
