EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating a homicide that happened on Sunday, Jan. 25, in Socorro.
The incident occurred along the 10500 block of Monte Alto. The investigation is connected to a scene at the intersection of Piedras Street and Porter Avenue in Central El Paso.
The El Paso Police Department assisted the Sheriff’s Office.
A Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said they believed the suspect was present at the scene at Piedras and Porter.
