Craft Pita Collab at Pizaro’s

Now through Thursday, January 29, Pizaro’s Pizza, 1000 West Gray, 11177 Katy Freeway, has teamed up with Craft Pita for a limited-edition Mediterranean-inspired menu. Try the Shawarma Pizza with shawarma-spiced chicken, roasted potatoes, akawi cheese, pickles, and garlic aioli for $26, or indulge in the dessert Knafeh Pizza with shredded phyllo, pistachios, akawi cheese, and orange blossom–rose water syrup for $10; or grab the combo for $34.

Ornellaia Wine Dinner at il Bracco

Il Bracco, 1705-A Post Oak, launches a new bimonthly wine dinner series with a five-course pairing featuring Ornellaia wines. The Italian-inspired menu includes Sicilian crudo, burrata salad with grapefruit and pistachio, crab cappelletti with saffron butter, wild-caught Pacific swordfish in fra diavolo, and biscotti-crust cheesecake. Dinner is $150 per person with seatings at 7, 7:30 and 8 p.m.

Master Whiskey Tasting Series at Bayou & Bottle

Bayou & Bottle, 1300 Lamar continues its Master Whiskey Tasting Series, with two-hour sessions available by reservation with a welcome cocktail, four whiskey tastings and lite bites. Upcoming tastings include Nikka on January 28–29, Buffalo Trace Prohibition Selection on February 4, and Jefferson’s ocean-matured expressions on March 5.

The Bluefin Cut at Traveler’s Cart

Traveler’s Cart, 1401 Montrose, hosts The Bluefin Cut, featuring a live bluefin tuna breakdown by Kaisen Sushi followed by sushi and sashimi service in a lively patio setting. Tickets are $180 and include curated sushi and sashimi plus two Japanese-inspired cocktails or mocktails, with limited seating beginning at 5 p.m. Food-and-drink-only tickets are available at 8:30 p.m. for $80.

Queen Mary Tavern Cocktail Pop-Up at Bandista

Bandista at Four Seasons Hotel Houston, 1300 Lamar, welcomes the team from Chicago’s award-winning Queen Mary Tavern for a one-night cocktail pop-up from 6 to 10 p.m. The limited-seat experience features five signature cocktails, including the Navy Strength Old Fashioned and White Truffle Martini, with one-hour reservations required. Cocktails range from $25 to $40, and proceeds benefit Camp H-Town.

Epicurean Evening 2026 at Space Center Houston

Epicurean Evening returns to Space Center Houston, held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. with an after-hours tasting event featuring bites from more than 40 food booths, beer, live entertainment and access to the museum setting. Produced by the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, the annual “Taste of Space” includes food samples, two beer tickets for guests 21 and older, free parking, a mobile auction and raffle prizes. Presale tickets are $40, day-of tickets are $45 and early-entry tickets are $65, with group discounts available.

Live at the Founders Club Menu Launch with Chris Shepherd at the Hobby Center 

The Hobby Center, 800 Bagby, rolls out a new Founders Club menu by James Beard Award–winning chef Chris Shepherd during Live at the Founders Club, an intimate cabaret-style music series. Guests attending Modern Folk – Multicultural Roots will be the first to try craveable bites like caviar with sour cream and onion chips, birria taquitos, crackling queso, smashed cucumber salad and a Full Tilt hot dog, with food and drinks available throughout the show. Upcoming performances include Love Always: Celebrating the Romance of Nat King Cole starring Jumaane Smith (February 12–13), Sincerely, Sondheim starring Nicholas Rodriguez (March 26–27) and more.

Throughout January, restaurants across Rice Village are participating in Dine Out Rice Village, offering special prix‑fixe menus or featured items with a portion of proceeds benefiting Southern Smoke Foundation’s work supporting food & beverage workers in crisis through emergency relief and no‑cost mental health care. Participating spots include D’Amico’s, Hamsa, Hudson House, Mendocino Farms, Milton’s and Navy Blue, each showcasing unique offerings for the month. 

The January Reset with Berg Hospitality Group

Berg Hospitality Group is rolling out The January Reset, a monthlong dining program focused on balance, wellness and flavor across its portfolio of restaurants. Each concept is offering its own three-course prix-fixe menu built around seasonal ingredients, lean proteins and lighter preparations, with menus spanning everything from grilled branzino and salmon to whole-wheat pastas and prime filets, plus lighter desserts to finish. Participating restaurants include Annabelle Brasserie, B&B Butchers, B.B. Italia, Prime 131, The Annie Café & Bar, Trattoria Sofia and Turner’s.

Mardi Gras King Cake

In its sixth year supporting Sky High for Kids and childhood cancer patients at Texas Children’s Hospital, Common Bond offers traditional Cinnamon and Raspberry Cream Cheese King Cakes, DIY kits, and mini cakes. Preorder full-size cakes and donated kits by February 14 (72-hour lead time). Mini King Cakes, King Cake lattes, and select pastries are available in-store through February 17.

Josephine’s Gulf Coast Tradition, 318 Gray, celebrates Mardi Gras with a King Cake. available to-go or for dine-in. The in-house crafted King Cake ($28) feeds four people, with each cake containing the traditional hidden baby and featuring strawberry jam and cream cheese filling. Bridgerton-Inspired Flavors at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream

In celebration of Bridgerton Season 4, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is debuting two limited-edition flavors at Houston scoop shops and online. Queen Charlotte Sponge Cake launched January 15, a lavender-tinted sponge and custard treat with bright berries, inspired by the regal monarch. Earl Grey Crème Brûlée arrives February 12 in shops (online February 9), featuring fragrant Earl Grey custard with burnt-sugar candy crunch reminiscent of a torched crème brûlée.
