Temperatures will once again fall into the low 20s with feels like temperatures in the teens overnight.
Tomorrow morning, we are set to see another hard freeze. This is why we have issued a weather impact between 9 pm tonight and 10 am tomorrow morning. During this time frame, I think it is very possible that we see temperatures colder than today due to radiational cooling. Temperatures in the low 20s with wind chills in the teens are likely once again.Â

The National Weather Service has issued both a Freeze Warning and a Cold Weather Advisory from 9pm to 9 am tomorrow. The following is an idea of what temperatures may look like. With freezing temperatures for a long time, any standing water in pot holes and drainage areas that does not evaporate today will likely freeze over again tomorrow. Be careful driving in neighborhoods where standing water may still be likely.

Note: I am skeptical of the temperatures this model is putting out Ingleside and Rockport. I think they will be colder.
Tuesday morning may also challenge the record low of 22° set back in 1897.Â
Now the good news about tomorrow comes with our high temperatures. With sunny skies and easterly afternoon winds, we will warm up into the 50s. Our frigid wind chills are expected to not last into the afternoon as well.Â

As a reminder, here is what you can do to prepare again tonight for the hard freeze.
These are things you should do when temperatures fall below 28 degrees.Â
• Drain and wrap exterior pipes, and cover exterior faucets. Drain sprinkler systems and check your pool equipment, too.
• Ensure pets and livestock have adequate warmth and shelter, or bring them inside if at all possible.
• Cover sensitive vegetation and bring potted plants inside.
• Drip indoor faucets during freezing temperatures. Do not drip outdoor faucets.
• Open cabinetry with plumbing inside to allow warm air to circulate around the pipes.
• Make sure you leave your heat on at least 55°F, even if you won’t be home.
Stay safe, and stay warm.
