LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 35-year-old Tatenda Sawaya, who was reported missing on Monday.

Sawaya’s family reported her missing today. Officials believe she may be endangered due to multiple medical diagnoses and the inclement weather conditions.

Sawaya is a Black female, approximately 5-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs about 130 pounds.

Sawaya was last seen on foot last Thursday in the area of UMC around 11 p.m.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the LPD non-emergency number at 806-775-2865 or 911 if necessary.
