If you drove around Lubbock today, you probably drove on some streets that seemed to be in pretty good condition, then probably saw others that still had a lot of snow and ice on them. The good news is that the sun came out on Monday, the bad news is that the temperature never got above freezing and the Lubbock area is expected to have another hard freeze going into Tuesday.
That means streets that did have melted ice will probably re-freeze over night leading to dangerous conditions on Tuesday.
