The Dallas Cowboys will have a new defensive line coach in the 2026 season.
The Tennessee Titans are hiring Aaron Whitecotton as their new run game coordinator/defensive line coach, a person familiar with the decision told The Dallas Morning News. Whitecotton spent one season as Dallas’ defensive line coach.
The move means Whitecotton will reunite with Robert Saleh. Whitecotton and Saleh — now Tennessee’s head coach — previously worked together throughout their stint with the New York Jets. Whitecotton was notably in the running for Tennessee’s defensive coordinator gig before he took his new role.
Whitecotton was also an in-house candidate for the coordinator spot in Dallas before the Cowboys hired Christian Parker last week.
