Over 23,000 power outages reported across East Texas

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) – Utility crews were working to restore power to East Texans Tuesday.

As of 3:30 a.m., 23,142 power outages were reported for the following counties:

Shelby County: 6,839 customers (42.89% of customers in the county are without power)Nacogdoches County: 5,926 customers (15.74% of customers in the county are without power)Rusk County: 4,108 customers (17.61% of customers in the county are without power)Panola County: 4,070 customers (25.37% of customers in the county are without power)Cherokee County: 2,199 customers (6.02% of customers in the county are without power)
