The Dallas County Tax Office has announced that 2025 property tax statements are now being mailed to property owners across the county.
According to Dallas County Tax Assessor/Collector John R. Ames, this marks the 16th consecutive year that statements have been sent out on time, giving residents ample opportunity to plan and make their payments by the due date.
To make the process more convenient, the tax office is encouraging residents to pay their property taxes online. Payments can be made at www.dallascounty.org/tax using an eCheck at no additional cost. Credit and debit card payments are also accepted through the website, though they may incur a processing fee.
Property owners can also pay by phone at 1-877-253-0150 or by mailing payments using the provided return envelope.
Those with mortgage escrow accounts should note that their mortgage company has received the tax amount due, and instead of a duplicate tax statement, an informational postcard has been sent.
Additional statements and more information are available at www.dallascounty.org/tax. Ames urged residents to take advantage of online payment options for both convenience and safety.
