Fat Friday 2026 will take place at The Waterline at Doc’s (downstairs), featuring Cajun appetizers, live music, a silent auction, a costume contest, themed cocktails, and the introduction of the new Barefoot Royalty. Tickets are $35 and expected to sell out quickly, with purchase available online.

Parker McCollum will headline the Hilliard Center Arena on Friday, Jan. 30, with special guests Jake Worthington and Jackson Wendell. Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 26 at 10 a.m. CDT, with a password pre-sale starting Thursday, Sept. 25 from 10 a.m.–10 p.m. Tickets and info are available online. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. All ages are welcome.

Safe Fun-Fit at the Bayfront is a free City of Corpus Christi wellness program held Saturdays from 7–11 a.m., featuring a 1.5-mile fitness lane along the Bayfront for walking, running, and biking, plus group classes from 8–11 a.m. Open to all skill levels ages 8 and older, the program requires pre-registration, and children ages 8–15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Aurora Arts Theatre announced the Coastal Bend premiere of *Come From Away* as the opening production of its 2026 season, directed by Laurie Guajardo-Hoefelmeyer and opening January 16, 2026. The musical tells the true story of how the town of Gander, Newfoundland welcomed thousands of stranded passengers on September 11, 2001, highlighting compassion, connection, and community.
