The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says four Aldine ISD students were taken to the hospital after suspect fleeing police in a stolen vehicle crashed into a school bus.

Authorities say the chase began near the Eastex Freeway and Lee Road with a 17-year-old teen in a stolen vehicle, with also reportedly a stolen gun in the car. The teen fled, crashing into the school bus on the Eastex feeder road on the east side of the freeway. The bus was carrying 28 children at the time, with four of them transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Others aboard the bus were treated at the scene. The condition of the suspect is unknown, and no word on what charges they will face. The investigation is ongoing.
