Over 15,000 remain without power in East Texas following winter storm

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) – Utility crews were working to restore power to East Texans Wednesday.

As of 6:00 a.m., 15,355 power outages are reported for the following counties:

Shelby County: 5,091 customers (31.88% of customers in the county are without power)Nacogdoches County: 4,537 customers (12.05% of customers in the county are without power)Panola County: 2,374 customers (14.78% of customers in the county are without power)Rusk County: 2,342 customers (10% of customers in the county are without power)Trinity County: 1,011 customers (9% of customers in the county are without power)
