TxDOT is moving forward with the demolition of the Alabama Street bridge over I-69 near downtown Houston as part of the I-45 North Houston Highway Improvement Project. Lane closures start Jan. 28 on Alabama Street westbound, with a ramp closure from McGowen Street to I-69 northbound planned Feb. 2.
