Large structure fire shuts down Enterprise Blvd in Rockport, police say

First responders remain on scene as traffic is diverted and drivers are urged to avoid the area near N. Live Oak Street and Omohundro Street.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — First responders are battling a large structure fire in the 1200 block of Enterprise Boulevard, prompting a road closure in the area.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the Rockport Police Department said Enterprise Blvd. is shut down for an undetermined period as crews work the scene.

 Drivers are being redirected at North Live Oak Street and Omohundro Street.

Authorities urge the public to avoid the area and follow directions from emergency personnel directing traffic to ensure everyone’s safety.
