Mexican sibling duo Jesse & Joy are kicking off their 2026 El Despecho Tour in the Sun City! Sing your heart out to songs like “¡Corre!” and “Dueles” at 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30 at the Plaza Theatre.

Experience Giacomo Puccini’s regarded masterpiece “La Bohème” as it captures the raw beauty of youth, love and loss in artistic Paris! Watch and hear the lush score from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30 at St. Rogers Depot, located at 420 N Campbell St. Tickets start at $65.
Kids Craft and Pizza Night: Sleepy Pet Weavings
Do your kids complain about being bored on the weekend? Sign them up for this workshop to learn how to weave on a loom to make a cute, cozy blanket for their furry friend! The event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, at Assembly Craft Studio, located at 1730 Tierra de Mesilla, Suite 6. Tickets start at $35.

El Paso Roller Derby: Beginners Roller Skate Workshop
Speaking of workshops, the El Paso Roller Derby and El Paso Parks and Rec are hosting their workshop for beginner skaters from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31 at Nations Tobin Sports Center, located at 8831 Railroad Dr. This event is free for all ages, but you have to bring your own quad or inline skates, a helmet and pads. Lace up your skates and start rolling!

The Artforms Artists Association of New Mexico will launch the annual For the Love of Art Month 2026, featuring studio tours and various art events throughout February. Kick off the event from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1, at Trails End Studios, located at 1732 N. Mesquite St. The event also includes a map with each studio taking part!
