Texas residents spent nearly $250M on OnlyFans in 2025, new data shows

  • January 29, 2026

OnlyFans has grown into one of the internet’s most popular content-creation platforms, with its subscription-based model positioning it as a market leader for explicit and adult-only images and videos.

Based on recently released data, Houstonians appear to be fully in on the trend.

According to a study by OnlyGuider, Texas residents spent nearly a quarter of a billion dollars on OnlyFans in 2025, placing the state second nationwide in total spending at approximately $248.5 million.

Before Texans get too embarrassed, however, the data suggests the state’s sheer size played a major role in that ranking. Texas placed 21st nationally in per-capita spending intensity, indicating that while overall spending is high, individual usage rates are more moderate compared to other states.

The study also highlights Houston as the top-spending city in Texas, with residents spending nearly $32 million on OnlyFans subscriptions in 2025. Dallas followed with $26.2 million, while Austin ($17.5 million), San Antonio ($17.4 million) and Fort Worth ($10.2 million) rounded out the state’s top five cities.

Globally, Houston ranked 11th worldwide in total OnlyFans spending and fourth among U.S. cities. New York City topped the global list with $87.2 million, followed by Los Angeles—ranked second globally with $71.3 million—and Chicago, which ranked sixth at $47.3 million.

While Houston ranked high in overall spending, it did not place in the top 20 globally for per-capita spending. Dallas and Austin, however, both cracked the top 20 on a per-capita basis.

At the county level, Harris County led the state with an estimated $43.3 million in OnlyFans spending. That total equates to roughly $86,400 per 10,000 residents, according to the analysis.

OnlyGuider said its estimates are based on a model that combined search interest, traffic quality and audited global revenue data from Fenix International Limited, OnlyFans’ parent company.

Houston—and Texas as a whole—represents just a small slice of OnlyFans’ rapidly expanding global footprint. In 2025, the platform’s global revenue increased from $6.6 billion to $7.2 billion, marking a 9% year-over-year increase.
