LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Two people are facing charges after a prostitution investigation into nearly 10 Lubbock businesses.
Biwu Liu and Fu Gao were arrested and charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution.
According to court documents, investigators tied them to seven massage parlors around town where sexual favors were offered in exchange for money.
Liu is accused of creating advertisements for the parlors on websites known for prostitution services. Both he and Gao are accused of financing the parlors.
Court documents also reveal the two owned Hot and Juicy Seafood on Frankford Ave. Investigators say money from the restaurant was also used to pay for the prostitution ring.
They were both arrested last week and have since bonded out of the Lubbock County Detention Center.
