Happy Thursday,

I hope you and your family stayed safe and warm over the past couple days as area temperatures plummeted. Now that the ice is starting to melt, it’s the perfect time to get out of the house and immerse yourself in Fort Worth’s arts community.

And don’t miss the chance to head over to Will Rogers Coliseum this Saturday and Sunday for the Escaramuza & Charro Cala Competitions, a unique segment of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. The riding events feature synchronized routines meant to spotlight precision, fluidity and timing

Last year, I spent an entire day following the Selección Oklahoma Juvenil escaramuza team at the youth competition. Spoiler alert: They won first place.
