EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14) — Below is the list of delays or closures due to the weather for Monday.
SCHOOLS
El Paso Catholic Schools: Two-hour delay; school will begin at 10:00 am.
Tornillo ISD: All schools will start two hours from their normal starting time. School start times will be at 10:00 a.m., and buses will begin pickup at 9:00 a.m.
Anthony ISD: Will be on a two-hour delay on Monday.
Las Cruces Public Schools: Two-hour delay. Breakfast will still be served. To keep students from waiting outside at bus stops, bus routes will also run on a two-hour delay. Staff should report to work according to their contract hours. Employees with extenuating circumstances are encouraged to make arrangements with their principal or supervisor.
Canutillo ISD: All classes and operations will begin two hours from their regular schedule. School buses will pick up students two hours later than the normal times. Breakfast will also run on a delayed schedule. Please note that all CISD campuses will open their doors at 6 a.m. in case any student needs to be dropped off early and needs a warm place to wait for the start of the day.
Ysleta ISD: All Ysleta ISD schools and administrative offices will have a two-hour delayed start from the normal time on Monday.
Socorro ISD: All schools will start two hours from their normal starting time. Morning Pre-K three-year-old classes are canceled for the day. Transportation will be provided two hours from normal pick-up times.
El Paso ISD: Will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday. Morning Pre-K 3-year-old classes will be canceled for the day. Transportation will run on a two-hour delay from normal pick-up times.
Fabens ISD: All schools and offices will be on a two-hour delay.
Clint ISD: All campuses will begin instruction two hours later than their regularly scheduled start times. However, our campuses will be open at regular times for student drop-offs if needed. Transportation services will run on a two-hour delay from normal pick-up times. Inclement weather bus routes are posted on our district website. Essential Clint ISD staff should report to campuses at regular scheduled times. Any further updates will be communicated through our district website, parent communication system, and our social media accounts.
Gadsden ISD: All schools and district offices will begin two hours later than their regular start time, and bus routes will also operate on a two-hour delay. AM 3-year-old preschool classes will be canceled. Adjusted schedules will be in place for the remaining preschool programs, and families have been notified directly regarding transportation and start times.
IDEA Public Schools: Will operate on a two-hour delayed start.
Triumph High School: Delayed start at 10 a.m. and afternoon classes at the regular time for Triumph High School, El Paso West campus.
IDEA Public Schools: Will operate on a two-hour delayed start. Breakfast will be provided for all scholars upon arrival. Lunch and supper service will operate as usual, and afternoon dismissal will remain at 3:45 p.m.
Fort Bliss: The installation will operate on an installation-wide late-work call on Monday. Work call for Soldiers and Civilian employees is 10:00 a.m. Personnel with additional weather impacts should contact their chain of command for further instructions.
Sunshine Christian School: two-hour delayed start for Monday for K5-6th grade; Classes cancelled for PS and K4.
La Fe Preparatory School: Will open on a two-hour delay.
OTHER
Dona Ana County: Administrative offices will open with a two-hour delay on Monday, and will resume normal operations at 10 a.m.
White Sands Missile Range: The command team has delayed reporting until 10 am on Monday. Employees should contact their supervisor for further details.
City of Las Cruces: Non-emergency operations will have a delayed start by two hours on Monday.
Centro de Salud Familiar La Fe: All clinics and facilities will open on a two-hour delay.
The Borderland saw the first snow of the year on January 25, 2026.
This was due to the massive snowstorm that hit most of the United States.
