A driver was arrested after crashing into a rock wall while fleeing from El Paso police in a Northeast neighborhood, a police spokesman said.
The incident occurred when police attempted to do a traffic stop but the driver refused to stop, fled and crashed into a rock wall shortly after 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, in the 5900 block of Apollo Avenue near Diana Drive, police spokesman Officer Adrian Cisneros said in a media message.

The driver was arrested on a charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and evading arrest, Cisneros said.
The person’s name and further details on the incident were not immediately available.
