AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a vehicle theft at the Encompass Health Clinic on January 18, 2026. Officers responded to the incident at 330 West Ben White Blvd. SVRD WB, where a male suspect was seen checking door handles in the employee parking area before stealing a vehicle with a female accomplice.
The male suspect is described as a Hispanic male with dark hair, a goatee, and a large chest tattoo. The female suspect is described as a Hispanic female in her late teens or early 20s with long, dark hair, according to the Austin Police Department.
Anyone with information is urged to contact APD’s Auto Theft Unit at ATIP@austintexas.gov. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest, stated the source.
