KANNAPOLIS, NC – Ronald “Ronnie” Dean Van Noy Sr. passed away on January 23, 2026. He was 71 years old. A funeral service will be held in his memory on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in Greenwood’s Live Oak Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76107; an interment will follow his services in Greenwood Memorial Park. Born on September 9, 1954, in Oakland, Californa, to parents, Clyde Sannel Van Noy and Essa Mina (Collier) Van Noy, Ronnie moved to Fort Worth, Texas, his family’s home state, as a young boy. As a young man, Ronnie started his career as a painter, working with his father and brothers. He continued to work alongside his brothers and other family members throughout the years until his retirement from Miller Brewery. Following retirement, he moved to North Carolina to be closer to his children. In his free time, Ronnie enjoyed league bowling, playing bingo, playing slots at the casino, spending time at the lake fishing and playing cards with his beloved family. Preceding him in passing were his parents, Clyde and Essa Van Noy; brother, Clyde Nelson Van Noy; and sister, Sylvis Jane Van Noy. Ronnie is survived by his son, Ronald Dean Van Noy Jr., and wife, Kristy; daughters, Christy Bost and husband, Tim, and Amanda White and husband, Rex; brothers, Allen Van Noy and wife, Peggy, and Mark Van Noy; grandchildren, Haley Stauter, John Van Noy, James Van Noy, Isabella Van Noy, Dakota Bost, Caleb Bost and Alexis Bost; and great-grandchildren, Damon, Amaya, Leonidas, Allison, Kinsley, and Colton.
