Temperatures fall back to freezing this weekend in Houston

Temperatures fall to the mid-20s Sunday morning.

Arctic Air Moves InToday’s Forecast:

Today we are starting off chilly, and as we head into the afternoon temperatures will only climb into the mid-50s. Winds are from the north.

Saturday Morning:

The National Weather Service issuing a cold weather advisory 3AM – 10 AM on Saturday as windchills will only be in the teens.

There is a freeze watch in place from Saturday night through Sunday morning. Temperatures are expected to fall into the mid-to-lower 20s which is a hard freeze. It’s important to keep the pipes wrapped and plants covered. Bring the pets inside!

A late week cold front brings freezing morning temperatures over the weekend. We have to wait an entire week before temperatures head to the 60s.
