Business Briefing
Texas Health, REV Entertainment, North Texas Soccer Club and the City of Mansfield will collaborate on initiatives to promote healthier lifestyles, including community events and food and beverage offerings that emphasize more nutritious choices.
“Texas Health’s mission is to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve, and that includes supporting a community asset like the new Texas Health Mansfield Stadium,” Eulanie Lashley, president and CEO of Texas Health Hospital Mansfield, said in a statement. “This facility will not only host events. It will serve as the central wellness hub for the entire Mansfield community.”
The stadium’s primary tenant will be North Texas Soccer Club — the Major League Soccer NEXT Pro affiliate of Frisco-based FC Dallas — beginning this summer, with the team’s first match scheduled for July 4. The venue is expected to host a variety of sports and entertainment events, including youth soccer, international tournaments and concerts.
Mansfield is reportedly spending about $88 million on the facility.
The stadium is among several Dallas-area venues being evaluated by national soccer teams as potential team base camp sites for the FIFA World Cup, which begins in June. National teams will select base camps over the next two months.
In a statement, Mansfield Mayor Michael Evans called Texas Health a “trusted partner that shares Mansfield’s commitment to strengthening the health and well-being of our community.” He said the stadium is more than a sports venue, calling it a “year-round gathering place that will bring families together, drive economic growth and create new opportunities for community programming.”
Stadium construction began in December 2024, with Perkins & Will serving as design architect and Moss Construction as the project’s contractor. The venue is managed by Arlington-based REV Entertainment, also the official sports and entertainment partner of the Texas Rangers.
Sean Decker, president of REV Entertainment, said in a statement that the naming rights sponsorship “goes well beyond signage,” adding that the venue will prioritize wellness and community engagement.
The stadium project is a partnership between the City of Mansfield, FC Dallas and REV Entertainment. REV and FC Dallas serve as venue operators when construction is completed.
Recent construction includes the completion of the east and west canopies, which provide covered seating on both sides of the stadium. Concourse slabs have been poured, making the stadium fully walkable. And field drainage is complete in preparation for natural grass sod.
The stadium will anchor the 250-acre Staybolt Street project, which will residential and retail development, family entertainment, and a hotel and conference center.
