North Richland Hills using rewards program to encourage residents to dine local after winter storm

North Richland Hills is reminding residents of its restaurant rewards program to help owners impacted by winter storm

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas — City officials in North Richland Hills are encouraging residents to support local restaurants following the winter storm that kept many customers at home and slowed business across the area.

Through the city’s Restaurant Rewards program, diners can earn 10% cash back when they eat at participating North Richland Hills restaurants and use the Open Rewards app. The incentive is available through April 30 or until program funds are exhausted, officials said.

The effort comes after several days of icy road conditions disrupted normal dining traffic and strained small businesses.
