HOUSTON – A teen is recovering in the hospital after being shot while sitting in her pickup truck Friday morning.
Houston police responded to reports of a shooting in the 7100 block of Kinney Street. When they arrived, they found the 18-year-old woman shot inside her SUV.
Officers said the woman’s SUV was parked right outside of her home when the shooting occurred.
Investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting, but as of now, details are limited.
The woman is expected to be okay.
