Are you ready to Party Like Tomorrow is the End of the World? I have fantastic news for you. Steel Panther will be performing their incredibly fun, hilarious, and musically masterful style of 80s glam rock at Jake’s Backroom (5025 50th Street) on Sunday, April 12. Don’t be scared to stay out on a school night.

Rock Like It’s 1987: Steel Panther In Lubbock
I once dated a guy who hated hair metal. Note the word once. He hated hair metal because he hated having fun, letting loose, and having a good time. What a dork. The truth is, there is a tremendous amount of technical prowess that goes into a good hair metal band, and the musicians in Steel Panther absolutely embody that.
Steel Panther has toured all over the world, are frequent performers on rock cruises (which I covet the opportunity to partake in), and recently had a song on the best show ever: Peacemaker. The title of the song is so dirty I can’t repeat it here, which fills my Heart with joy.

Steel Panther tickets are available here, including Meet and Greet and Merchandise packages. GA starts at$33.30 including fees. Watch out for resale sites; they are always overpriced and sometimes not even real tickets.
Everyone who goes to this show is in for a great time in an intimate setting where you’ll be able to see and hear everything (the sound guy at Jake’s is phenomenal). This one is for the party people, and the music nerds who are all secretly also party people. I can’t wait for us all to be there together.
