The purpose of the Leander Chamber of Commerce is to engage businesses and the local community while empowering them to grow, according to its website.

The organization aims to promote member businesses, foster economic growth, attract tourism, target workforce development and more.

During a Chamber event Jan. 29, leaders announced that the organization had acquired property surrounding the new space and noted plans to expand its footprint with two new buildings.
