One of the most difficult trophies to win in sports will be taking a trip through Dallas in a few months.
As part of the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, the original tournament trophy will stop in North Texas on the weekend of April 25-26, The Coca-Cola Company and FIFA announced on Friday. An exact location for the appearance has yet to be announced.
Dallas will be one of 38 stops the tour will make across all three host nations — the United States, Mexico and Canada — in the leadup to the 2026 World Cup, giving fans an opportunity to see soccer’s most coveted prize. The worldwide tour began on Jan. 3 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will also make additional international stops along the way.
FIFA will close out the month of April also touring Austin (April 28-29) and San Antonio (April 30) before heading to Houston (May 2-3).
