After a long period of dry weather, thunderstorms have returned to parts of Southeast Texas Tuesday.
While it isn’t a widespread rain event, some areas are seeing some isolated thunderstorms dropping heavy rainfall and producing lightning.
As of just after 3 p.m., most of these storms are confined to coastal areas of Galveston and Brazoria counties.
Other thunderstorms were located north of Houston in parts of Walker and San Jacinto counties.
