In Loving Memory of Ruby Faye Jackson Finney Ruby Faye Jackson Finney, age 80, of Watauga, Texas, peacefully went to be with her Heavenly Father on January 24, 2026. A woman of profound faith and boundless compassion, Ruby dedicated her life to the three things she loved most: God, Family, and children. Born on November 5, 1945, in Belton, Texas. Ruby was a longtime owner of her own daycare where she served as a “second mother” to generations of children. Her daycare was a sanctuary of safety, laughter, and grace, reflecting her firm belief that every child is a precious gift. Ruby’s home and heart were always filled with the spirit of her faith; she was a devoted lover of God and found great joy and comfort in listening and singing to Gospel music, which served as the soundtrack to her life. Ruby is now reunited with her beloved husband of 61 years, Wayne Finney; her parents Susie and Winston Jackson; and her brother, Edward Jackson, all of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her three daughters: Debbie Sutton (Husband Curtis) of Watauga, Donna Linamen (Husband Bobby) of Fort Worth, and Darla Stapleton of Southlake; three grandchildren, Katlin Finney (Wife Brittney), Destani Linamen, and Karlee Sutton; and six great grandchildren; brother, Don Jackson. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
