EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A family member of the missing 14-year-old girl that the El Paso Police Department reported as a runaway on Thursday, Jan. 29, told KTSM she is back home with family as of Saturday, Jan. 31.

After the family confirmed to KTSM, El Paso police announced on its social media account that Zury Talamantes was located and safe with her family.

The Texas Department of Public Safety had issued an Amber Alert for Talamantes around 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 30, stating that law enforcement officials believed she may be in grave or immediate danger.
