LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE FROM TEXAS ANTI-GANG CENTER) – On October 17-18, 2025, the Lubbock TAG Center along with other agencies conducted a crime suppression operation. The operation included traffic stops, multiple arrests, firearms seized, two search warrants and resulted in several gang members being documented.
140 Traffic stops 28 Felony Arrests 9 Misdemeanor Arrests 12 Gang Members arrested 2 Recovered Stolen Vehicles 4 Firearms Seized 33 Citations issued
Arrest charges included fugitives wanted for Aggravated Assault, Indecency with a Child Sexual Contact, Federal Probation Unlawful Transport of Firearms, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon and a TAG Top 10 Wanted Fugitive with a felony warrant, evading arrest on foot and money seizure among other charges. Gangs noted in arrests included Bloods, Crips, and West Texas Tango, in addition to several local hybrid gangs.
Agencies participating in the operation included Lubbock Police Department, Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, South Plains Auto Theft Task Force, US Marshal’s Service, Lubbock and Abilene offices and Lubbock Fire Marshal’s Office.
