EL PASO, Texas — A collision involving a motorcycle on the 1500 block of Lomaland resulted in one fatality, according to the El Paso Police Department.
The Special Traffic Investigations Unit responded to the scene at 1:10 a.m. on February 1, 2026. The preliminary investigation revealed that 26-year-old Austin Jacob Zubia was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu south on Lomaland and made a left turn into a parking lot. At the same time, 48-year-old Adrian Omar Narro, riding a 2007 Harley Davidson, was traveling north on Lomaland. The vehicles collided in a T-bone crash, causing Narro to be dislodged from the motorcycle. Narro succumbed to his injuries from the collision, stated the source.
This incident marks the fourth traffic fatality in El Paso this year, matching the number of fatalities at this time in 2025. The investigation is ongoing, according to the El Paso Police Department.
