Williams is charged with three counts of burglary of a building and one count of aggravated robbery.

The 57 year old, according to court documents, walked into Happy State Bank on 19th St. and Quaker Ave. on Sept. 30. He approached the counter and placed a gun in front of the teller and demanded money.

He then walked out of the building with the money, leading to a search.

According to documents, investigators received a Crime Line tip from a person who identified and knew where Williams was.

Williams was then arrested and admitted to committing the robbery. The three burglary charges are linked to other crimes. He’s accused of burglarizing a cell phone store and gas station in March 2024.

The other is linked to a burglary at a gas station in February of this year.

Williams is still being held on a $210,000 bond in the Lubbock County Detention Center.
