First, Coldplay rolled into the Sun City last Summer and then just two weeks in to 2026 BTS announced El Paso as a tour stop and absolutely shattered the internet and now Post Malone is officially hopping on the El Paso train and bringing his Big Ass tour to the Borderland this May and I AM NOT OK!!!! *Cries in Spanish*

Coincidence? Maybe. Manifestation? Absolutely. Look, I don’t want to say the reason Post Malone is coming to El Paso is because of me…but also… I’ve been manifesting a Posty concert here for YEARS.

After BTS announced they were coming, I even shared my thoughts on what other massive artists should bring their tours to El Paso. And sure enouge the universe said, “Say less.”

Post Malone is No Stranger to El Paso

Before the stadium tours and headline festivals, El Paso caught a glimpse of Posty’s rise when he casually popped into Twin Peaks on the west side.

It was the summer of 2018 when Post Malone had just dropped his second studio album Beerbongs & Bentleys, and hits like “Rockstar” were turning him into a full-blown superstar overnight.

Post Malone and his crew stopped by the Twin Peaks off Sunland Park for food and drinks. As fans began asking for selfies and autographs, word spread fast on social media and soon, more fans showed up.

Turns out, Post has a thing for comfort food spots. Twin Peaks joins the elite list of places he’s publicly shown love to alongside Olive Garden, Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, and Panda Express. I mean, could we love him even more?!

Post Malone Shouts Out El Paso in His Latest Album

As if the concert announcement wasn’t enough, Post Malone recently gave El Paso a lyrical shoutout on his brand-new album “F-1 Trillion.”

The city gets name-dropped on track #17, “M-E-X-I-C-O.” According to Post Malone, the song tells a story about how chasing happiness doesn’t always go according to plan and how life can take some unexpected, sometimes tragic turns.

During the bridge, El Paso officially enters the chat:

“I made it south of El Paso, met a businesswoman there
I knew that she was rich, but how, I didn’t care
When the cops kicked”
