An inmate is back in custody Monday afternoon after escaping custody in Fort Worth.

According to a spokesperson with the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, the inmate, whose name has not been released, was being transported by van from the downtown Fort Worth jail to the Green Bay facility, located at 2500 Urban Drive.

The search was centered near the US Postal Service facility on Mark IV Parkway near Great Southwest Parkway.

CBS News Texas chopper witnessed captured the moment Fort Worth police, along with a police helicopter and K-9s located the inmate. He was taken into custody and placed into an awaiting Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office vehicle. 

There’s no word if any businesses had been locked down.
