The scene of the leak (KPRC 2)
A gas line was struck by a third-party contractor working on road improvements in SE Harris County, causing a major gas leak.
The leak is located near the intersection of Sageaspen and Blackhawk Boulevard.
Our Sky 2 Chopper was over the scene.
Officials say Blackhawk Boulevard is closed in both directions near the scene of the incident.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area, use alternate routes, and follow directions from on-scene personnel.
