EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — An 18-year-old driving a red Ford Mustang was arrested Saturday in El Paso after allegedly leading deputies on a chase.

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, Raul Alberto Sias was arrested after he reportedly led deputies on a pursuit after they tried to pull him over for driving fast and recklessly along I-10.

The Sheriff’s Office said Sias eventually pulled over at the 9700 block of Alameda Avenue.

According to jail records, Sias was booked into the El Paso County Downtown jail and charged with evading arrest or detention with a motor vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office said his bond was set at $20,000; however, court documents show his bond was lowered on Monday to $7,500.

Jail records show Sias was released from jail on Tuesday after posting a surety bond.
