EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Police said a man was injured and another was arrested after a shooting was reported Sunday afternoon in Central El Paso.
According to the El Paso Police Department, Cesar Vite Pineda was arrested after a shooting happened at around 3:56 p.m. in the 2500 block of Morehead Avenue, near Alabama Street.
Police stated the shooting injured a 58-year-old man.
KFOX14/CBS4 camera crews captured the moment when it appears the victim was airlifted to a hospital.

Police did not reveal information regarding the victim’s condition.

On social media, EPPD released bodycam video showing what appears to be a SWAT standoff ending with the suspect’s arrest (dramatic music added by police).

No information was provided regarding what might have triggered the shooting.
Jail records show Pineda was booked into the El Paso County Jail and charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, with a combined bond set at $150,000.
According to jail records, as of Monday afternoon, Pineda remains in jail.
