Crash happened around 9:40 p.m. Sunday in the 8000 block of Hausman Road
SAN ANTONIO – Two people were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a head-on crash on the Northwest Side, according to San Antonio police.
The crash happened around 9:40 p.m. Sunday in the 8000 block of West Hausman Road, between Babcock Road and Kyle Seale Parkway.
According to an SAPD preliminary report, a 20-year-old woman was driving eastbound on West Hausman Road when she was struck by a vehicle while turning onto Kyle Seale Parkway.
The vehicle that struck the woman, driven by a man believed to be in his 30s, was traveling westbound on Hausman Road.
San Antonio firefighters had to cut up the man’s vehicle to get him out, SAPD said. Both the man and the woman were taken to the hospital, police said.
An officer at the scene said no charges are expected to be filed.
