LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will host the 11th annual Lubbock Uncorked Wine Festival on Saturday, March 28 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the American Windmill Museum at 1701 Canyon Lake Drive.
The event, presented by Market Street, brings together Texas wineries for tastings while guests enjoy live music and food from local vendors. Tickets are on sale now.
VIP passes are available for $115 each in limited quantities. VIP admission includes expedited entrance, exclusive access to a VIP tent with premium wine samples and complimentary hors d’oeuvres from Market Street. VIP tickets must be purchased in advance.
General admission tickets cost $65 on the day of the event.
“Wine plays a meaningful role in Lubbock and West Texas, and Lubbock Uncorked is a chance to experience that firsthand,” said Abie Rampy, Director of Public Relations at United. “This event brings our local wineries together in one place while also introducing guests to new wines they may have never tried before.”
Two specialty sessions will be featured during the festival:
Build Your Own Board runs from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The charcuterie board class with Graze Craze includes wine from Llano Estacado and guidance from local business owners. The session costs $65 to add to any ticket.
Blend & Bottle takes place from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The class with Llano Estacado Winery allows guests to create custom wine blends and bottle them to take home. The session costs $55 to add to any ticket.
Three stages will feature local musicians throughout the event:
Train Room performers include Makenzie Patton (1-2:30 p.m.), Bo Garza (2:45-4:15 p.m.) and Riley Solberg (4:30-6 p.m.).
Windmill Room features Jake Pyeatt (1-2:30 p.m.), Amber Green (2:45-4:15 p.m.) and Chris Hudgins (4:30-6 p.m.).
Mural Room showcases Crag Elliott (1-2:30 p.m.), Robert Lopez (2:45-4:15 p.m.) and Rhonda Taylor (4:30-6 p.m.).
