Arlington-based Texas Health Resources obtained the long-term naming rights for the new stadium under construction in Mansfield, officials announced recently.

The agreement establishes Texas Health Mansfield Stadium as the official name of the multiuse soccer complex that is scheduled to open this summer.

“Texas Health’s mission is to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve, and that includes supporting a community asset like the new Texas Health Mansfield Stadium,” Eulanie Lashley, president and CEO of Texas Health Hospital Mansfield, said in a statement. “This facility will not only host events — it will serve as the central wellness hub for the entire Mansfield community.”

The stadium will anchor the 250-acre Staybolt Street development that includes residential, retail, a hotel and conference center as well as other entertainment venues.

The 10-year sponsorship includes prominent branding throughout the stadium, a refreshed logo and a new digital presence, said officials from REV Entertainment, one of the venue operators. The agreement also lays the foundation for a wide-ranging collaboration focused on community health initiatives, they said.

Texas Health will serve as the stadium’s official health partner as part of the agreement. North Texas Soccer Club, which is the Major League Soccer Next Pro affiliate of FC Dallas, will serve as the stadium’s primary tenant.

REV Entertainment, Texas Health Resources, North Texas Soccer Club and the city will collaborate on initiatives to promote healthier lifestyles, including community programming and enhanced food and beverage offerings that emphasize more nutritious options, officials said.

“This stadium is more than a sports venue. It’s a year-round gathering place that will bring families together, drive economic growth, and create new opportunities for community programming,” Mansfield Mayor Michael Evans said in a statement. “We’re proud to welcome Texas Health as the naming rights sponsor as we move closer to opening day.”

The stadium complex is a partnership between the city, FC Dallas and Arlington-based REV Entertainment. REV Entertainment and the Frisco-based Major League Soccer team FC Dallas will serve as venue operators once it is completed.

Texas Health Mansfield Stadium will serve as the home of the North Texas Soccer Club beginning this summer, with the team’s inaugural match at the venue scheduled for July 4.

The stadium, which has been under construction since December 2024, will host a diverse lineup of sports and entertainment events, including youth soccer, international tournaments, concerts and more, REV officials said.

“This naming rights sponsorship goes well beyond signage,” REV Entertainment President Sean Decker said in a statement. “Together, we’re creating a venue that prioritizes wellness and community engagement as Texas Health Mansfield Stadium comes to life.”

Texas Health Mansfield Stadium is among several DFW-area venues being evaluated by international teams as a potential Team Base Camp site for the FIFA World Cup 2026, which will have games in Arlington this summer, officials said.

The stadium reached a significant construction milestone in October with its topping-out ceremony.

Recent construction progress includes:

Completion of the east and west canopies, providing covered seating on both sides of the stadium.
Concourse slabs poured, making the stadium fully walkable.
Field drainage, base and subgrade complete and ready for installation of natural grass sod.

On Jan. 12, the Mansfield City Council unanimously approved a development plan for roughly 17.4 acres in the Staybolt Street Entertainment District. The plan was the next step in moving construction of key elements forward.

The area voted on by council includes three lots that will include a hotel, the convention center, an office tower and mixed-use blocks.

“We are focused on the future, and we’re ensuring that this development plan meets the criteria that’s needed to get these new amenities up and available for our residents and visitors alike, sooner than later,” Evans said in his recap after the meeting.
